Call for Proposals Now Open for the ATLIS 2023 Annual Conference

Help shape the ATLIS 2023 conference by sharing your expertise with the community.

ATLIS is a community of bright minds, forward thinkers, and innovators. You have knowledge, experience, and stories to share; and your community of independent school technology leaders from around the country wants to learn from you!

Has your technology team developed helpful processes that may benefit the larger independent school community? Do you have innovative ideas around edtech trends? Do you have expertise in a certain aspect of school cybersecurity that can help others mitigate risk? Have you developed leadership or change management skills that can help others on their own journeys toward technology leadership? If you have been through an experience or developed tools and tricks that you believe other independent school tech teams can learn from, consider submitting a session idea.

Broad topics for submissions include cybersecurity, edtech, data and analytics, IT solutions, and leadership, all with a focus specifically on the needs of independent school technologists. ATLIS expects to see a broad range of submissions within these topics, including finding tech solutions to help reach schools' DEI outcomes, navigating change management, creating and implementing tech policies and procedures, approaches to handling sensitive data, leading tech teams of all sizes, ideas for innovation spaces, information on emerging technologies, and even advice on the career growth of an independent school technologist.

Because people like to learn in different ways, this year we are asking for submissions in various presentation formats. The goal is to build a dynamic agenda that includes traditional presentations, short Ted-Talk-style deliveries, panel discussions, and longer hands-on workshops that will be more interactive.

Submit your proposal by October 28.

The 2023 ATLIS annual conference will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan from April 30 - May 3. What issues are you facing that you hope to see on the 2023 conference agenda?
