We (MKA) have been using KnowBe4 for a little over a year and have found the service very well organized and easy to use. I have monthly check-in calls with my account manager, and they have been extremely helpful.
The training and phishing exercises are tremendous and supplement the in-person work.
Concerning cost and potential savings of insurance, the question isn't if you'll save money if you use a service like KnowBe4; the question is will you get coverage if you don't. When you apply for any cyber insurance policy, there are numerous questions about what you are doing to prevent phishing, how you train, and the training frequency.
The
NUMBER ONE tactic used in a cyber event comes from phishing attacks. Insurance companies are making it harder and harder to get insurance, and if you have a policy, I would check to see what their expectations are for you and if you comply. If you don't, your policy could be void, and the coverage you thought you had will disappear in the event of an issue and lack of compliance.

Subject: KnowBe4 info
Hi,
I'm looking to implement KnowBe4 at my school. As part of our due diligence, I've been asked to ask my peers what software other schools are using instead of KnowBe4, and approximately how other schools are paying for it. We're a fairly small school with about 350 students and 120 employees. I'm also interested in how much, if any, schools were able to save on their cyber insurance with KnowBe4.
Thanks,
