Our school had a 1:1 device program about fifteen years ago, but it eventually lapsed. One of my primary goals is to reintroduce this program*, and I would greatly appreciate insights from peers who have navigated this process.  Below I share a survey where I'm looking for input.

I realize the survey may seem long, but please feel free to answer only the questions you're able to-every bit of feedback helps!

*For reference, we do have 1:1 iPads and Chromebooks for grades K-6, whereas our students in grades 7-12 own their computers.  We're looking to start a 1:1 program for these 280+ students, and improve web filtering & classroom management capabilities across campus.

Device Details
How many devices does your school provide?
If you offer different devices for different grade levels, please explain.
What type of devices are used?
Is there a vendor you would recommend for purchasing devices?
If you use Chromebooks, are there tasks students can't perform for which you use other devices (e.g., Photoshop, video/audio editing)?

Purchasing & Support
Do you lease or purchase the devices?
How many people are on your tech team to support hardware needs?
Do you extend the factory warranty for your devices?
Do you have policies in place for handling broken devices, spills, etc.? Please elaborate.

Web Filtering & Security
If you use web filtering tools like GoGuardian or Securly, please share your experience and satisfaction.
