    Hi All,

    Apologies for the cross-post, but does anyone have a good resource that provides some statistics for cyber attacks on public and private schools up to 2024? I've done some searching and the only solid resource I can find is this from 2021 (https://k12cybersecure.com/). I'm looking for number of reported and potential financial or other impacts. While I know the impacts, I'd love to be able to point or reference an actual report or data source with accurate data. Thanks for your help and collective wisdom!

    Hi Justin,

    Check out The State of Ransomware in Education 2024 report. It includes 2023/24 stats on ransomware attacks for educational institutions (lower and higher education). Sophos has published annual reports for previous years, too. If you dive deeper, you may also find reports on other aspects of cybersecurity there. I hope it helps!
