Does anyone have helpful information on choosing a new dining service, and one that allows parents to pre-order lunch online(for students going to our satellite campus)?

Karie - We use a company out of New Jersey called PCS.  Their website is PCSRCS.com  We are a small independent PK-12 school of just over 1000 students on one campus.  For a multitude of reasons, the school wanted to move to a cashless system that would allow parents to fund an account that their student's lunches would debit from.  We evaluated 3 systems and felt PCS would give us the best results for what we needed (I don't recall what the other 2 systems were).  This was about 6 years ago.  Their system is very capable for handling everything that a very large school district needs, multiple schools, central office, POS, applications for Free & Reduced Lunches, etc.  During the pandemic, they added an ordering system "Order NOW" to their products and we were one of the first schools to use it.  Pre-COVID, only our students in Grades 5-12 had lunch accounts.  During COVID, we stayed open during the 20-21 school year and parents ordered lunches for their students in PK-Gr 4 and we plated and delivered them to the classrooms for dining.  This year grades 1-4 went through the serving line (as in pre-COVID) and our PK-K ordered lunches and ate in their classrooms.   Next year, I don't think we'll be ordering lunches in advance any longer.  Please let me know if you'd like to have an additional discussion with me on this.  Thanks!

Here at The Center we have used Boonli for the past few years. We do not have a cafeteria, but we do have a large kitchen where the company finishes prepping the meals. Parents order and pay for the week online. Boonli's website handles everything. The meals are available in small and large sizes with up to six options everyday. They offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. They also have an adult menu for our faculty and staff. The food is delicious, nutritious and satisfying. And the best thing is we don't have handle anything other then sending a check to pay for students on financial aid.
