Good afternoon everyone!

We are looking to possibly introduce a one-to-one device policy at Whitefield Academy. We will pilot 7th grade next year with chrome books and manage the devices with Google admin. Curious if the group has recently gone through a similiar transition and would be able to lend a few Pros and Cons from the project.

We transitioned from one to one MacBooks to Chromebooks in grades 2-8. It has been a game changer for us and parents in terms of keeping students on task and being able to control access to various platforms and sites. We can push everything from Google Admin and using Securly parents are rest assured that students are protected from most unsavory content.
