We are using AmplifiedIT to migrate the data but not the IDP. They are great, but they said they don't do that part of the migration. Maybe they did before they were acquired by CDW. Not sure. Do you recall if they supported that part of the process for you?

Hi All,
My apologize for the cross posting. We are currently migrating our MS365 environment to Google and want to move our IDP from SM365 to Google as well. The tricky part is, we have been using MS to sync and provision users in Google because we have been using GDrive as our cloud storage system so the users exist in both systems, using MS as the IDP for Google. The goal is to have everything in one system. The issue as we see it in testing is, if we delete the account in MS 365 to sever the connection, it concatenates the users email address in Google with the MS immutable ID. Here are our two options that we see to move forward.
Option 1: Suspend users in MS365, that suspends them in Google doesn't change username, reactive in Google. Reset password. End user updates password.
Option 2: Remove the Oauth connection with MS365. Reset Password. End user updates password.
Has anyone gone through a similar situation? How did you handle it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
