ATLIS Announces the ATLIS Leadership Institute 2023-2024 Cohort

Thirty-three independent school technology professionals to participate in year-long leadership cohort.

ATLIS is thrilled to launch the 2023-2024 cohort of the ATLIS Leadership Institute (ALI). The leadership institute is designed to elevate aspiring leaders with the knowledge and skills to run a technology department at an independent school. Now in its seventh year, the program is a hallmark of the ATLIS community.

At ATLIS, we believe in the power of collaboration and experiential learning. That's why our participants will have the privilege of working closely with program administrators, subject matter experts, and accomplished ALI graduates. This unique support system will provide valuable insights and guidance, drawing from the wealth of experience our experts bring to the table.

Throughout the program, participants will have the chance to put their skills to the test through team and individual challenges. These hands-on assignments are carefully crafted to provide practical scenarios, encouraging critical thinking, effective decision-making, and the honing of communication skills—essential qualities for successful leaders.

One of the highlights of the ALI program is the research and development capstone project. This exciting endeavor allows participants to dive deep into a specific area of interest and solve a need for the ATLIS community. By tackling real-world challenges head-on, they will not only gain invaluable experience but also develop innovative solutions that can drive positive change not only at their own schools, but for the broader ATLIS community as well. For example, members of the 2022-2023 cohort created a member resource to guide schools through building a technology plan.

As if that weren't enough, ALI offers exclusive, ongoing benefits to its participants. By becoming a part of the esteemed alumni community, participants gain access to a wide range of networking opportunities, further learning resources, and professional development activities. The learning and growth don't stop at the end of the program—ALI is a lifelong journey.

The program's monthly components cover a diverse array of leadership topics, including general business leadership strategies, surveying the tech landscape in their schools, forging strategic alliances, understanding IT infrastructure and data culture, innovating professional development initiatives for their teams, and engaging in exciting research and development projects.

Please join our community in congratulating these exceptional individuals who have been selected for the upcoming cohort of the ATLIS Leadership Institute:
