Knowing that this is a safe place, I want to share what I've been working on for our school--it's not complete and a bit rough still.
We are using a Samsung Gear 360 camera on a SWIVL tripod (not the SWIVL robot). Then we stitch that together on a service called Kuula. We use the PRO version.
Here's the start of one for our Garner Center for Innovation (it's not complete, so you may end up at a dead-end, just click back in your browser).

Subject: 3D Capture for Virtual Classroom Tours
Hi All,
I am looking for software/app recommendations for creating 3D/virtual tours for classrooms similar to the way you can do for real estate. I've dabbled with apps like Matterport. The 3D capture process was extremely easy and could be done within a few minutes using an iPhone. The biggest issue is finding an easy way to share the capture so that families can see and explore the 3D image via it being published on our LMS or linked to our school site. Please let me know if you have any experience or insights. Thank you.
