  • 1.  Backing Up Google Workspace

    We are currently using Spanning from Kaseya to backup Google Workspace.  I loved the product and price when it was initially released by EMC. We are at a point now where we need greater flexibility in terms of setting retention policies and the options are limited. 

    Does anyone have a backup product for Google Workspace that they like and feel confident recommending?

    We also use Backupify this year, so far so good. One thing to note is that you need to have a Manager account on every Shared Drive in order for them to import into Backupify. If you don't do this out of practice/procedure, you can script it with Google Apps Script.

    We are another Backupify school. Have used it for about 3 years.  It has worked well but I noticed support was not as good as before. I spoke to our rep and learned they are adding more support for the product and doing additional training.

    We don't currently have a backup solution for Google Workspace.  Backupify doesn't appear to have transparent pricing on their site, what does their pricing model look like?  If anyone is willing to share any specifics for pricing it would be helpful for planning purposes.  Thank you!
