    Good afternoon,

    Haven't posted in a while but I have definitely lurked.  

    We have an aging virtual environment that currently only hosts our Asterix PBX and our Galaxy Security camera system.  Both systems need an update.  All other services have been moved to the cloud (LMS, SIS, Domain, Printing, Development, Finance, etc).  Moving these to a hosted solution will add significant cost to the operating budget, about $8K yearly recurring each.  We currently pay $650/yr for support on the cameras and have no support on the PBX.  I am trying to reduce to zero our locally hosted systems to remove the software update, hardware replacement, and disaster recovery burdens.  

    We are small 300ish students, 50ish staff, 1 dedicated IT staff (me), and 1 Learning Technology Support staff that also teaches tech and manages the library.  I would like to be able to focus my time on working to support the core business and also help with the learning technology.  There is a great deal to do to support the teachers and staff.  

    So... Have many moved these services to hosted? Or do most still have on-prem servers and systems?
