    Hi all,

We have six Sindoh 3DWOX1 printers and we are aware that these have been discontinued. As a result, all of the PLA for this printer is unavailable. Unfortunately, the only option that leaves us with is to purchase new printers that use proprietary filament so this issue doesn't happen again.

Does anyone else have Sindoh printers, and have you found a way around this issue? We used 3D Printers Depot as a 3rd party to get the last of the filament, but even they are sold out now. It feels like a shame to buy new printers when ours are still in great condition and were extremely reliable.

    I would appreciate any tips!

    Hi Rachel,

I feel your pain as we have/had 8 of the Sindoh printers, so I was not happy when they just left the market. I did buy some filament last year to stock up, so we had some. I am not sure what we will do when that runs out. Maybe there is a way to flash the device and load another OS on the printer. Maybe I can get one of my students to figure out how to do that this year as a challenge.

I promoted these printers to many schools over the years as they were rock solid. I have moved to Flashforge Adventurer 4 and have been pleased. I purchased 4 from Wow3D printer https://wow3dprinter.com/ and 2 from Polar3D https://polar3d.com/.   I also use their Polar Cloud, which works well.
